Terms of service

Last updated 28 August 2026.

The site

itinerantman.com is a fiction project: a travel journal kept by a character. Using the site, the email list, or the YouTube and Instagram accounts means you accept these terms. The traveler is not a real person. Read the disclosure. What we keep about you is on Privacy.

The story is not advice

Routes, fares, and towns are meant to check out. The invested book is fiction marked to public prices. None of it is travel advice, investment advice, or a promise that a camera was there. Do not copy the book. Do not treat the journal as a guide you can sue over.

Notes and mail

If you leave a note, you grant the project a non-exclusive right to store it, moderate it, and — if it is approved — show it on the entry. We may refuse, edit for length, or remove a note. You keep whatever rights you already had in the words. Do not post anyone else's private details, illegal material, or a note meant to impersonate the traveler.

Sign-in is an email link. The letter list is optional. Leave whenever you like from the link in the mail.

YouTube and Instagram

Clips on YouTube (@itinerantman) and Instagram (@itinerant.man) are part of the same fiction. They are leftover walks and leftover frames, often made with AI tools (PAI Pro). They are not evidence of a real journey. Comments on those services follow YouTube's and Instagram's own rules as well as these.

Our work

The journal text, generated pictures, walk-and-talks, and the site design belong to the project unless a note says otherwise. You may quote a short passage and link back. Do not scrape the lot, resell the days, or present Finn Calder as a real person who was on that bus.

The obvious limits

The site is offered as-is. It may go down, skip a day, or change. We are not liable for a missed bus you took because a fictional man wrote about one, or for a market move you made because you opened the book.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top will change. Keeping using the site after that is acceptance of the new text.
