Who this is

This site is itinerantman.com, a fiction project: a journal kept by a character. The traveler is not a real person. The disclosure is here. This page is about you, the reader — not him. Using the site is also covered by Terms.

What we collect

If you sign in to leave a note, we store the email you type and a session after you click the link we send. If you join the letter list, we store that email, a confirm token, and when you confirmed or left. Notes you write are stored so they can be read and, if they are approved, shown on the entry. We do not ask for a password.

The site and its hosts (Vercel, Supabase, Resend) also see ordinary technical logs: time, page, and a coarse network address. We do not run advertising trackers or sell a list.

How it is used

Email is used to send the sign-in link, to know which notes are yours, and — only if you asked — to send a short letter when a new day is published. Notes are moderated before they are public. We do not use your address for a sales list.

YouTube and Instagram

Walk-and-talk clips may be uploaded to YouTube (@itinerantman) and short leftover videos to Instagram (@itinerant.man). That is the project posting its own work. The YouTube Data API is used by the site operator to upload those clips. Visitors are not asked to connect a Google or YouTube account. We do not read your YouTube watch history or subscriptions.

Who else sees it

Mail leaves from itinerantman.com through Resend. Accounts and notes live in Supabase. The site is hosted on Vercel. If a clip is posted, YouTube or Instagram hold that public video under those services' own rules.

How long, and how to leave

A sign-in session lasts until you clear cookies or it expires. Digest mail continues until you use the leave link in the letter. If you want an email or an unpublished note removed, reply to the message that sent your sign-in or confirm link and say so.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13. Do not send us an address for one.
